A Collaborative Video Series
Spotlighting the people, products, and ingenuity driving Jackson, Michigan’s manufacturing economy.
Featuring five short films—each focused on a different Jackson-area manufacturer—the series offers an authentic, human-centered look at modern industry, highlighting advanced technology, skilled careers, and the pride behind work made locally.
The project is facilitated by Accelerate Jackson County, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and the Shop Rat Foundation, and produced by the award-winning team at Uncharted Films Co. Together, these partners are elevating the stories of companies that design, build, and innovate right here in our community.
Built Here aims to strengthen awareness of regional opportunity, support workforce growth, and reinforce Jackson’s identity as a place where innovation and craftsmanship are truly built here.
